The Welsh Government has recently launched a social media campaign against hate crime called \u2018Hate Hurts Wales\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign material includes five very short video clips portraying hate crime relating to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Religion
\u2022 Race
\u2022 Sexual orientation
\u2022 Disability
\u2022 Transgender<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a British Sign Language general video clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers and schools may find some of this material helpful as a stimulus for aspects of religious education such as prejudice and discrimination, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
